Seth Watson Quigg
Outdoor and Intercultural Educator
Seth Quigg was raised in North Carolina, USA and has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management and Technical Photography from Appalachian State University. Seth became passionate about photography when he was a teenager and finds great joy in expressing himself through his photographs. He has been fortunate to work and study all over the world and finds great value in the growth and development traveling and teaching provides. He believes that photography is a great way to capture and interpret culture and relies on photo elicitation interviews to prompt his students when working. Seth looks for photographic opportunities which express the subtle nuances unique to different cultures, while representing common characteristics of human life across the world.
In addition, he has been working in the field of outdoor, adventure, and experiential education since 2002 and holds a Master of Arts degree from Prescott College in cross cultural studies within Adventure Education. He teaches for World Challenge Expeditions and the National Outdoor Leadership School and can usually be found in periphery countries around the world or in the mountains and on the rivers of the United States.
